School Induction Report..

SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAMME 2017

      As per the new curriculum we had a school induction programme  for four days. We are supposed to visit St. Stephen's High School , Pathanapuram from 6th February to 9th February.We were 6 student teachers from English Optional.The aim of our visit was to know about the functioning of the school, their activities , to observe the class of expert teachers. Moreover being a student teacher to take classes shared or individual.
                                        On 6th February I reached the school at 9:15am. At first we met the Head Master of the School.He took us to the Deputy Head Master and he gave us necessary instructions about the school, discipline and how to manage the class.After this we met English teachers and some of them gave permission to observe their class. We were also given permission to take class. The coming days we took class both shared and individual.We also engaged students during the substitution periods.I took two poems and one memoir.Overall it was a wonderful experience for me....

Avoid prejudices and be optimistic.
Every child is born with some abilities.
Understood to teach according to the needs of the learners.
If we respect students they will definitely respect us back.
Understood how to manage the class.
